As CEO and Founder of SHYFT Analytics, Zack is passionate about realizing the company’s vision to deliver transformative insights to the global life sciences and healthcare industries that accelerate commercial value and improve patient outcomes. He leads a cross functional team that has created the leading data analytics platform to deliver the most highly scalable way to transform massive amounts of healthcare data into on-demand clinical and commercial insights.
With twenty years across technology and healthcare, Zack has held numerous roles in companies large and small focused on engineering and innovation for complex or highly regulated industries. Previously, Zack was an early employee at ZEFER, a software company that raised $160M in venture funding and grew to over $100M in revenue, 800 people, and six global offices. Prior to ZEFER, he led global engineering and product teams at EF Education First, the world’s largest private education company.
Zack was a combat flight paramedic for the United States Army’s 101st Airborne Division during the first Gulf War, a graduate of the elite Army Air Assault School, and received the Army Commendation Medal for heroism and meritorious achievement. Zack is an investor in early stage technology companies and is an Advisory Board Member for the Slater Fund, a technology venture program driving economic development in New England.
Zack was recognized by Ernst & Young as an Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in 2014. Earlier in his career he was a software engineer and attended Bentley University’s Computer Information Systems program.
Dave is a general Partner with Health Enterprise Partners, a growth equity firm focused on health care services and information technology companies. Prior to joining HEP, Dave was a Vice President with Susquehanna Growth Equity, a private equity group focused on growth capital opportunities in the technology sector. He was formerly the President and Chief Operating Officer at Onward Healthcare, Inc., a provider of human capital services to healthcare providers sponsored by Welsh, Carson, Anderson, & Stowe. As an Executive Vice President with Pinnacor, Inc., a provider of information and analytical applications, Dave managed the company’s worldwide operations. Pinnacor completed an IPO in 2000 and was later sold to CBS Marketwatch.
Dave is on the boards of eVariant, Nordic Consulting, Privia Health, SHYFT Analytics, and Vitals. He served as a director of MobileMD prior to the company’s sale to Siemens. He serves on the board of The Open Door Shelter, and since 2000, he has been a Lecturer at Columbia University in the Executive Master of Science in Technology Management program.
Dave is a distinguished graduate of the United States Military Academy (1993) and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (1999).
Steve brings more than 25 years of customer-facing executive management experience in healthcare and technology to his position as Chief Commercial Officer of Medidata Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for Medidata’s Global Sales & Alliance organization, Value Office and Strategic Business Development.
In more than a decade of continuous service with Medidata, Steve has been instrumental in the company’s growth. His track record includes a series of progressive roles including executive management of many of Medidata’s key Commercial and Operational organizations. His contributions have played an instrumental role in the company’s IPO in 2009 and current market cap of $2.5 billion.
Previously, Steve served as vice president of sales at I-Many, helping to prepare its successful IPO in July 2000, and spent five years as a business development executive for the Janis Group.
